There are many vacation rentals in Aruba. But none is like Bali Retreat.

Pass through the carved teak doors into a world of warm timber, flowing water and tropical gardens woven around ancient boulders. Swim beneath the skylights of the indoor pool, follow a path to the hidden Buddha cave, or lose yourself in a book in the giant pillow pit.

Greet the morning with a stretch in the yoga pavilion. Take your piña colada to Hammock Cove and let the afternoon drift by. As evening falls, gather your favorite people for dinner on the sand under the palapa, settle into your private cinema, then slip into the hot tub before bed. There’s space to come together and room to disappear for a while.

Rates & payment

Your rate covers the entire villa, for up to 10 guests. Children under two don’t count toward this limit.

Tourist taxes are additional: 12.5%, plus $3 per villa per night. Checkout cleaning is $475.

December 20–January 7 carries a 30% holiday surcharge.

Pay in three equal installments:

One-third when you book.

One-third two calendar months before check-in.

One-third one calendar month before check-in.

Booking closer to arrival? Any installments already due are payable when you book.

Electricity & water

A $125-per-night utilities deposit is included in your quote. Usage is metered, and any unused balance is refunded.

Security hold

A $500 hold is placed on your card near arrival. We release it after checking the villa for damage, within one week of checkout.

Cancellations & changes

We have just one villa, reserved exclusively for you. Cancellations close to arrival can be difficult to refill.

48 hours to reconsider

Cancel within 48 hours of confirmation for a refund of your payment, less Stripe processing fees.

Available only for reservations confirmed at least 30 calendar days before check-in.

Outside that grace period, the cancellation charge is:

Earlier than two calendar months before check-in: one-third of the rental amount.

From two calendar months before check-in until the 14-day cutoff: 50% of the rental amount.

Starting 14 calendar days before check-in: 100% of the rental amount.

For cancellations before arrival, paid cleaning fees, tourist taxes and the utilities deposit are refunded.

Stripe processing fees are deducted from cancellation refunds.

Need different dates?

Date changes are welcome before the two-calendar-month cutoff, subject to availability. There’s no change fee; any increase in the rental price is payable.

From that cutoff onward, dates cannot be changed.

Your confirmation will show the exact deadlines in Aruba time.

House rules

Celebrate peacefully.

Family celebrations are welcome. Rowdy parties aren’t, so our neighbors can enjoy their homes too. Wedding receptions need our approval in advance.

Keep evenings gentle.

Outdoor quiet time begins at 9 PM; general quiet hours are 10 PM–7 AM. Quiet swimming and hot-tub time are welcome.

Friends can visit.

Up to 10 staying guests and visitors may be present together, excluding children under two. Please get our approval before inviting a larger group.

Keep the house smoke-free.

No smoking or vaping inside. Smoking is welcome in the garden with an ashtray and extra care because of the fire risk. Indoor smoking carries a $500 cleaning charge.

No candles or open fires.

Fire risk is high. Please use the supplied propane barbecue or arrange chef-run hibachi instead.

Will we have the whole property to ourselves?

Yes. Bali Retreat welcomes one group at a time. The villa, pools, cinema and tropical gardens are exclusively yours throughout your stay.

Enjoy the heated indoor waterfall pool and the outdoor Waterfall Lagoon, plus a Tropical Spa Pool with jets and a separate heated hot tub. The lagoon and Tropical Spa Pool are unheated.

Your own air-conditioned cinema has a 200-inch screen, surround sound and eight reclining leather theater armchairs, with four additional seats at the back bar.

Absolutely. Up to ten guests can share a table in the air-conditioned dining room or dine beneath the garden palapa, with white beach sand under their feet.

How close are Palm Beach and Eagle Beach?

Both are approximately 8–10 minutes away by car – an easy outing from your private retreat in Noord.

Our team can also arrange private van transfers to the beaches or anywhere else around the island, whenever you’d like to go. Transfers are priced separately and subject to availability.
