You have landed in Aruba. Your bags are with you, the warm air is the first hint of the week ahead, and someone from our team is there to welcome you. An arranged airport transfer makes the journey to Bali Retreat feel like the beginning of the stay.

A welcome from the team looking after your stay
Airport pickup can be provided by our own team, with your arrival coordinated by the people looking after your stay. From the airport welcome to the villa handover, you have one team helping the pieces fit together.
Bali Retreat is in Paraguana, in the heart of Noord. Share your flight details and we will coordinate the ride and meeting instructions, so you know what to expect when you arrive.
Getting out and about, taken care of
You may want a ride to dinner, a beach outing or transport for another part of your plans. Our team can help arrange island transportation as well as your airport arrival and departure. Tell us the destination and when you would like to go, including the return journey if you need one.
For a day of sightseeing with a local guide, explore our Island Tours instead. A transfer gets you to a destination; a tour makes the journey and the stops part of the experience.

A private, air-conditioned ride between the airport and the villa. Arrange just your arrival, just your departure, or both journeys.

Both-ways examples use the same group and villa address on each journey. There is no round-trip discount; arrival and departure are priced and charged separately.
Your people & your bags
Everyone counts, including babies and children. For airport travel, 1–7 passengers use one van; 8–9 use one van plus a free overflow luggage vehicle. Ten guests use two passenger vans.
Groups of 10–16 are split as evenly as possible across two vans. Groups of 15–16 also receive the free overflow luggage vehicle. Tell us your checked and cabin bag counts, along with bulky items, strollers and mobility equipment, so we can confirm a suitable fit.
Standard-area pricing is $60 per van for the first four passengers, plus $15 for each additional passenger through nine. Add 9% and round to the nearest whole dollar per van. Other addresses can have different airport fares; the table above is for the villa journey.
Meeting your driver
Your driver’s name, phone number and meeting instructions arrive the day before your confirmed ride. Usually you text after collecting your bags, and the driver comes from the nearby waiting area to the pickup zone. Follow the instructions sent for your own ride.
An inside-terminal meet-and-greet with a name sign can be arranged for an additional $25 total. Standard curbside pickup does not include a driver waiting inside with a sign.
Arrival waiting
One hour from your flight’s actual landing is included. After that, each started extra 30 minutes costs $15 total. Keep your driver informed if immigration or luggage takes longer.
Traveling on different flights? You can wait and ride together, with all flight details supplied, or arrange separate pickups with separate fares.
Dinner, beaches & a change of scene
Out from the villa. Back when you choose.
A private point-to-point ride takes you to an agreed destination. For an evening out, arrange the return time as well so both journeys are planned.

The first row totals $55 for up to four passengers, including the rounded 9% addition. For 10–16 guests, divide the group evenly between two vans, price each van separately and add their totals. Return rides have their own fare; ferry tickets and attraction admission are not included.
A little planning goes a long way
Choose the return time in advance. If it needs to change, contact your driver as early as possible, at least 30 minutes before the agreed pickup and ideally an hour. This is a reserved ride, not an on-demand pickup service. Pickups after 10pm need advance coordination.
Shopping & extra stops
A standard transfer does not include waiting while you shop for groceries. Arrange the two journeys separately, or choose a private driver by the hour. Multiple drop-offs in the same direction may be arranged in advance; opposite parts of the island require separate transfers.
Exact addresses determine the fare. Standard vans use safely accessible roads; Arikok and remote routes requiring a 4×4 are excluded. For guided exploration and park options, see our Island Tours brochure.
For a day with several plans
Keep a private driver with you
Shopping, lunch, a beach stop, then home. Your driver stays with the van while you enjoy each stop and is ready for the next agreed destination.
$125 per hour, per van + 9%
Reserve 2–12 hours, with up to nine passengers per van. Ten to sixteen guests use two vans. The price includes your vehicle, driver, fuel and parking; meals, drinks, attraction admission and optional gratuity are separate.
Time runs from your first pickup to your final drop-off, including waiting at your stops. This is transport with a driver; guided sightseeing is offered separately through our Island Tours.

Other whole-hour durations within 2–12 hours are available. Two vans cost twice the corresponding one-van total.
Extensions depend on your driver’s availability. Agree them first: each started extra hour is $125 per van total, with no further 9% added. Finishing early does not refund unused reserved time.
The details that keep things easy
Seats, timing & your plans
Children & access
Child seats are free. Request them at least three business days ahead with each child’s age and relevant size details, and wait for the actual seat arrangement to be confirmed. Shorter-notice requests depend on a suitable seat being available. You may bring your own suitable seat.
Our standard vans have no ramp or lift. Passengers need to transfer into a regular vehicle seat independently or with their own companion’s help. Tell us about mobility equipment and its dimensions before arranging the ride; specialist access must be confirmed separately.
Villa & island pickup waiting
Be ready at your agreed time. If you stay in contact and agree a delay, up to 30 minutes is free, followed by $15 for each started extra half-hour. If you do not appear or respond for 15 minutes, the driver may leave and the ride becomes a no-show. Allow the driver the same 15-minute grace period; if we are later than that and you take another ride, our unprovided ride is not charged.
Payment & cancellation
Arrange rides more than 24 hours ahead. Under current transfer terms, a card secures the reservation and each confirmed ride is charged separately 24 hours before its scheduled time. Arrivals use scheduled landing time; other rides use pickup time. All times are local to Aruba.
Cancellation is free before that deadline. After it, late cancellations and no-shows keep the fare nonrefundable. Rescheduling has no change fee until 60 minutes before service, subject to availability; the replacement must also be at least 60 minutes ahead. Moving later or choosing a cheaper ride does not reopen a closed refund deadline.
If your airline cancels or reschedules after the refund deadline, tell us promptly: we can agree a free reschedule of the affected airport ride, even inside the usual 60-minute window. This exception does not provide a late-cancellation cash refund. If we cannot provide a ride, payment for that unprovided service is refundable; a due refund is initiated within 48 hours, with bank timing additional.
All amounts are USD; gratuity is optional. The $15 waiting, $25 meet-and-greet and $125-per-van extension charges are final extras, with no additional 9%. Cash payment needs advance agreement so a saved card is not also charged. Your confirmed service details and accepted terms govern each ride.
