4 Easy Steps To Book With Crypto

Whether you’ve been using crypto for years, or know nothing about it, it’s easy to book your vacation with crypto.

1. submit the Reservation Form

But first, please read the House Rules & Booking Terms on the Reservations page, and check the Availability Calendar to make sure the dates you want are not yet reserved.

2. Wait for email confirmation

Once we receive your booking request, we’ll block off your requested dates and hold them for 48hrs. You’ll receive an email from us confirming your dates.

3. Open a Crypto account

(Skip this step if you already own crypto)

Open a crypto account - Crypto.com is easy to to use and charges no fees on credit card deposits, but Coinbase is also a good choice.

4. Send the payment

Once you’ve opened a crypto account, you’ll fund it with your credit card and send the payment to Bali Retreat. You’ll receive an email confirming your payment and your reservation is completed.

IS PAYING WITH CRYPTO SAFE?

The reason we decided to start accepting crypto payments was so we could offer a cheaper way to book Bali Retreat. By cutting out the middleman, we save money on the countless credit card and bank fees (Aruban banks are truly the worst in the world!). The money we save, we then pass onto you as a discounted booking rate.

When you open an account with Crypto.com (or Coinbase, Gemini, or any other crypto company), you’ll be required to verify your identity in the same way you do when opening a bank account.

You’ll be sending your payment from your verified Crypto.com account to Bali Retreat’s verified Crypto.com account and everything will be recorded by them in much the same way as transactions done by other payment services like Paypal or Venmo.

Additionally, you’ll be paying in USD Coin, which is essentially just a digital version of the US dollar, not by bitcoin or some obscure crypto token. USD Coin doesn’t flactuate in value like other crypto, one USD Coin is always one US dollar.

Basically, if you feel comfortable using Venmo, Paypal, or Cash App, you should be comfortable using Crypto.com or Coinbase.

But keep in mind that crypto payment is only one out of six ways you can book our property. If you prefer booking by credit card or through established platforms like Airbnb or Booking.com, please feel free to do so.
